I found a rock with a perfect hole through it while walking along the site of D-Day (Normandy Beach, France) when I traveled there in 2005. I was wondering if this could have been caused by a bullet going through it or not.

When D Day started, the allies pushed eastwards from Normandy France towards Germany. At the same time, the Soviet Union also started an eastern front and pushed West into Germany.
After the Soviet Union entered countries like Poland or Romania on their way to Germany, did they withdraw their troops after victory in Germany? The allies such as Britain and US did withdraw their troops from France after the war. They only maintained their troops in Germany.
Did the Soviet Union also withdraw their troops from countries like Poland, Romania or Czechoslovakia after they send their troops there to find the Germans?

hi, i am anil fram india.we Indians lost the most lives in both the first and second world wars, we indians got more victoria crosses for our bravery then all the allies put together except for the soviets, and we sacrificed over lives even when we were under Britsh rule, so why wasn’t the contributions of Indian troops mentioned today in france. your all blady racist if u ask me.

couldn’t happen to notice, driving around Normandy, Brittany, the wine regions…many of the locals we met weren’t French but middle class Brits forming communities in France
it was very strange

It was made in France and the serial number is 93868. On the Clarinet it says 4 Normandy. It is wooden. I am not sure what year it was made. It has a hard black case.
