Is A High Percentage Of The Population Of France, In Fact British 2nd Home Owners?
couldn’t happen to notice, driving around Normandy, Brittany, the wine regions…many of the locals we met weren’t French but middle class Brits forming communities in France
it was very strange

It depends what you consider to be a high percentage. In the Dordogne, for example, many people would say that the number of British home-owners is high and I think there it may be around 2-3% of the population. It’s worth remembering that any British people you come across will tend to stand out to another British person, so there will appear to be more of them than there actually are.
