Omaha Beach is in Normandy,France.It was the Allied codename for one of the principal landing points during the Normandy landings on June 6, 1944. The beach is approximately 3.5 miles (5.6 km) long, from Sainte-Honorine-des-Pertes to Vierville-sur-Mer.

In Normandy, France. (Normandy is a region of France). It was the site of a major WWII battle, right near the end.
