So In Wwii There Was A Great Battle At Normandy Beach In France, What Is The Beach Being Used For Currently??
is it like a memorial thinger, or do people use it for recreational purposes?? i know its very random, but i was just wondering

Truly Omaha beach is very memorial-like, but some of the other beaches are just used as normal beaches today. Especially in the British and Canadian sector I actually saw people going out for a swim and a few fishing boats lying there too. But there are still many of the original defences and the like in the countryside…

actually the original beach isn’t there anymore. after the war it was completely moved and is now inside the Normandy beach memorial museum in prutserville Normandy.
