What Is The Quote At The Wwii Us Cemetery At Coleville-sur-mer In Normandy, France?
The quote is written on the semi-circle wall at the cemetery. A photo of the where the quote would be is here:http://www.meridianmagazine.com/travel/i…
It should be written along side the top of that wall. Does anyone know what it says?

Carved on the inner face of the colonnade’s lintel is the inscription:
“THIS EMBATTLED SHORE, PORTAL OF FREEDOM, IS FOREVER HALLOWED BY THE IDEALS, THE VALOR AND THE SACRIFICES OF OUR FELLOW COUNTRYMEN.”
The whole booklet describes the monument in great detail
